Have been there twice in the last few days. Reserved in advance, of course, which is of course common in such a restaurant. Top service, top quality food and a chef who knows his trade. Keep it up, if we weren't 350 km away then we would have a perfect hangout. The criticism from another guest that you are under time pressure is simply not true. Keep it up and the Lower Bavaria wish you all the best.

"Schnellrestaurant"! Fehmelbauer! Nothing works without a table reservation, but it is immediately mentioned that the table can only be used for one hour! The illusion of well-groomed eating was thus destroyed. If you don't want to eat there just because you are hungry, but because you are looking for comfort and ambience, you should better stop off somewhere else! A table for a maximum of an hour - that also depends on how long it takes to get your chosen meal: however, this is not a problem: the medium rump steak with french fries and pepper sauce was served after just five minutes, which I found rather strange than enjoyable and it only confirmed the hectic pace. But already while I was eating I looked restlessly at the clock and asked myself: "Do I have to devour it to make it in time, since a good twenty minutes had already passed between using the table, reading the menu, ordering and receiving food, or is there enough time for an espresso or even dessert?" At the same time, an employee appeared and asked whether everything was okay, which at the moment was more like a: "Is it a little faster too?" appeared, as these and similar questions were asked several times, until we got a probably redeeming: "We want to pay" answered. Conclusion: Fehmelbauer fast food restaurant! Who likes it! For me personally, eating out means more than that: Good conversations with the time available! Looking forward to the meal, which can hardly arise after five minutes, whereby I will always ask myself how such a quick preparation can be possible at all. As a conclusion, dessert or espresso, which was not possible because the next guests were already waiting for the table! And especially: Time and comfort in our hectic times! The Fehmelbauer does not offer any of this! What does it offer? Good food - but I get that elsewhere too - under better conditions! That's why: Fehmelbauer - that was once, but never again!

Very nice old half-timbered house, lovingly restored, nice rooms with very comfortable beds, excellent kitchen. A lovingly owner-managed house! We recommend!!

Service and food are still very good. In my opinion, the choice of dishes has actually grown somewhat. The staff make every effort. Here you can eat very comfortably for two or in a group and spoil the palate.

Beautiful old building with its own distinctive character. The room was small but very cozy and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, friendly and generally awesome. They even have a shed nearby to park bikes and motorbikes. The food in the restaurant was delicious, specially the Schäufele and the whole experience was amazing. Never felt neglected or forgotten, as the staff was very attentive and well-spirited.
